Today, we’re officially kicking off sport show season, and the lodge is active on all fronts. Our A-team is in Denver representing at the International Sportsmen's Expo, fully set up in Booth 836C. The show is underway, conversations are happening, and we’re connecting with sportsmen and families planning their next hunting and fishing trips. Back home in Geddes, operations continue without missing a beat. Joel is welcoming guests and keeping every experience seamless and personal. We have open water on Lake Francis Case, and fishing conditions are excellent. Mild temperatures and calm weather have made for productive days on the water and comfortable time outdoors.

Pheasant hunting is still in full swing. Many of our guests are pairing late-season pheasant hunts with fishing, creating full days in the field and on the water. Our habitat management is active year-round, with fields intentionally left intact to provide food and cover through the winter months, creating some of the best hunting opportunities of the season. This approach supports strong bird numbers now, improves spring reproduction and hatches, and sustains healthy populations moving forward.
